I’m Marina, the heart and hands behind Sweetheart. For eleven years, I called Zambia home. Returning to South Africa after so long – and in the middle of one of the most challenging seasons of my life – I found myself searching for a new purpose. That’s when Sweetheart was born.

When I set out to improve my skills as a permanent makeup artist, I couldn’t find the kind of flat practice skins I needed, especially for delicate eyeliner work. I knew how nerve-racking PMU procedures can feel, and I wanted to create something that made training less intimidating, more inspiring, and truly enjoyable.

Sweetheart is my way of helping artists like you fall in love with practice. I design innovative, detailed, and realistic practice skins for eyeliner and brows, and lips – tools that spark creativity, strengthen muscle memory, and build your confidence with every stroke.

At the heart of every product is a simple promise: to help you feel like a rockstar every time you pick up your machine. Because when you’re confident in your craft, everything really is going to be okay, sweetheart. 💗
